Cabinet Refacing Plus - Williamsburg, VA - Levy

This client is serving our country in the US Armed Forces, and the family was reassigned from Little Rock, Arkansas to Yorktown, Virginia. Another Kitchen Tune-Up franchise location owned by Charlie & Susan Johnson in Little Rock had refaced the kitchen in their previous home.  The Johnson’s kindly referred our team in Williamsburg to do work in their new home in Virginia. This home was built in the early 1970’s, and kitchen was very dark with a peninsula that has wall cabinets and a pantry that served as a room divider. They wanted that cut down to open up the floor plan, but did not want to lose too much storage. Our team took down the wall cabinets, inverted them and used them on the back of the peninsula. We cut off the top of the pantry and put a new cabinet on the back side of it, and that solved the storage issue. Susan and Charlie’s team was very instrumental in help us put this project together as the family had not relocated yet – so we had to rely on their knowledge of the clients preferences as we were working on possible solutions. We couldn’t have done it without the help of our Kitchen Tune-Up franchise family! The end result is a stunning space that is both modern and functional for this family.

Cabinet Refacing - Williamsburg, VA - Levy

When our client purchased this home, they did a lot of updating and the kitchen remained the last project on the list. It had a badly worn whitewashed finish on alder wood, 3/8 inset doors, exposed hinges, and a ceramic tile countertop that has been installed on top of the original laminate. When the previous owner installed new flooring the stove was too tall for the laminate countertops, so the installed ceramic tile on top to make the countertops a bit higher. When we removed the existing countertops to add new granite our client had selected, we discovered that the base cabinets were no too short. Fortunately our installation team was up to the challenge . . . and the project turned out beautiful!  It required a few extra steps, but this stunning new kitchen was created by leaving the existing cabinet boxes in place, which can be hard to believe from the photos. The existing flooring & appliances remained in place. Our clients are delighted with their kitchen and we are grateful to them for their confidence and patience white we sorted out the details to complete the project. We are so glad that their neighbors (also our clients) had showed off photos on Facebook of a recent project and referred our team for this cabinet refacing.

Custom Cabinets

This small kitchen underwent a huge transformation! Our customer wanted to get rid of her cabinets that were no longer functioning well. We installed new custom cabinets for a brand new look. We added a pantry and expanded the peninsula area for additional storage space. Two upper cabinets were replaced with floating shelves to display favorite items. The backsplash is installed vertically for a fun, fresh look.

Custom Cabinets

This client wanted a completely new kitchen with a lighter look. We installed all new cabinets in our mission door with a custom gray stain on the perimeter cabinets and our mission door with a darker slate stain on the island. A pass through wall was enclosed to create more cabinet space. We also moved a wall oven to a base cabinet to create additional countertop space. A beautiful new marble backsplash and quartz countertop completed this stunning transformation!

Cabinet Refacing

Check out the difference! This client was thinking about putting their home on the market, and knew a modern door style and color would help the home be more marketable and attract more potential buyers. In only TWO DAYS, our team refaced these cabinets and added all new white painted doors & drawer fronts in a shaker style, with a factory finish and custom-made to fit the existing boxes. Because the cabinets were refaced and a complete renovation was not necessary, our client saved a lot of money. They were also thrilled that the existing granite countertops, flooring, and backsplash didn’t need to be disturbed. We finished the project with a Granite Tune-Up to clean, seal, and polish the stone tops.

Cabinet Refacing

Our team had so much fun with this “surprise” kitchen update! We completed this in only FOUR days, working over the weekend to pull off the stunning transformation just in time. The beautiful look was completed by refacing the cabinets using our exclusive HaglundRidge door in snow white with charcoal glaze. The selection of wire door and drawer pulls was a simple and unique look that really spoke to the clients style. The addition of crown molding also helped to elevate the look of the space. We even added a cabinet for storage in what was a previously underutilized space – making the function of the kitchen better for everyday use.

This client had never been happy with the style or quality of her cabinet doors. We are so glad she found us online and learned about our fast and affordable redooring service! She fell in love with our maple door in white shaker. The new doors & drawer fronts were custom-made to fit her existing cabinets.  In only two days, her kitchen was transformed with no demolition and very little mess.  We also added new brushed stainless steel hardware and replaced one drawer box. The appliances, flooring, and countertop remained undisturbed. What a difference a new door style can make!
