Andy & Laura Leigh Mathis - Flagstaff, AZ

From dull to dynamic in less than a week! Our client recently purchased this home and wasn’t happy with the dark kitchen. We added all new doors and drawer fronts in a crisp white shaker to brighten up the space. We added a fun backsplash to complete this transformation.

October 2018 Winner – Cabinet Refacing

Paul Leonard - Portland, ME

What a difference in this kitchen! The original cabinets boxes stayed in place and we refaced them in white shaker. We removed the peninsula cabinets to open up the space, and extended the base cabinets to allow the addition of a dishwasher.  Instead of a peninsula they now have a large island with more countertop space. It might look like a completely different kitchen, but this was a cabinet Refacing Plus.

Paul Climer - Las Vegas, NV - Climer

This kitchen is 25 years old and was worn. The homeowners were looking for a bright white kitchen, and the white shaker style was exactly what they had in mind. We refaced the cabinets and added all new wide shaker doors & drawer fronts in snow white, custom made to fit the space. We installed roll-out trays in most of the base cabinets and in the pantry. Under the cooktop we installed large pot and pan drawers, which are soft-close with full extension drawer glides. The homeowner also loves the new pull-out waste container with a second bin for recycling. We are thrilled they found us online and love the new kitchen!

Karin & Paulo Motoki - Coral Gables Miami, FL

These clients were tired of the Formica look of their cabinets. The existing cabinets were in excellent condition, but the homeowners felt the color was dated. The layout of the kitchen worked well for them and they have plenty of storage, so replacing the cabinets was out of the question. Refacing the cabinets was the perfect option, and we found a natural material they liked. We turned the range hood into a focal point with brushed stainless steel and a complimentary glass tile backsplash. Our clients were stunned that this new look was achieved by refacing without demolition and in such a short amount of time . . . plus the transformation happened with no disruption to their daily routine. We are so glad they found Kitchen Tune-Up Coral Gables-Miami online!

Adam & Rachel Phillips - Wichita, KS - Phillips

This unique kitchen remodel makes a bold statement, topping the custom olive green island with Guanacaste wood from Costa Rica. The exotic wood compliments the new wood floors and ceilings, as does the custom copper hood. The bisque cabinets with chocolate glaze, classic rounded panels and brushed bronze cup pulls add a little touch of French Country. The extra wall shelving and cabinets behind the island and the new pantry area not only give these homeowners plenty of storage space, but also make this new kitchen a festive place for cooking.

Two-toned kitchens are a popular choice in Flagstaff! We updated this kitchen from a dated golden oak to a beautiful gray and white. The original cabinet boxes stayed in place, and we added all new doors and drawer fronts in durable rigid thermofoil (RFT), stratus color on the uppers and flint color on the lowers. We added a fun new backsplash with Marrakesh tile details. A new quartz countertop completed this fun transformation. Our client has a wonderful garden and loves to cook. She said that her kitchen is now worthy of this beautiful garden and the meals she prepares.

September 2018 Winner – Tune-Up

Jill Lee - Santa Barbara County, CA - Lee

These oak cabinets were very dry and had a great deal of color and finish loss. Our client thought the Tune-Up results were excellent!  We are so appreciative of them recommending the service to others.

Karin & Paulo Motoki - Coral Gables Miami, FL

We are so glad this client found us in the Miami Home Pros Guide! Our Tune-Up service was the perfect fit for these wood cabinets. There was some damage on the finish, and the stain was completely gone in a few areas. We were able to restore them without sanding or stripping and bring them back to their original color. The rustic appearance remains, but they look almost new.

We are so glad this client found us on Angie’s List! It is hard to believe that these are the very same cabinets, only a different color. Our team painted these maple cabinets using Sherwin Williams antique white, added some wainscoting to the island, and also added some new trim. The original countertops, flooring, and backsplash was not disturbed. The project took us only 4 days to complete, and our clients were amazed at the completely new look!

Albert Bridges - Richmond, VA - Bridges

This homeowner originally called to inquire about a Tune-Up for her small galley kitchen. We determined that the dark cherry cabinets had polyurethane added at some point over the years, and a Tune-Up could help, but would not change the color. We priced out the cost of a redooring to add all new doors and drawer fonts, and the client was thrilled with that option. She selected our durable RTF doors & drawer fronts from our Portabella line, a French miter shaker style in snow white. We painted the cabinet boxes and cubby to match, and added to glass doors above the sink for some customization. Our team was in and out in only a few days, and no demolition was required.  Our client was thrilled with the bright new look.

Andy & Laura Leigh Mathis - Flagstaff, AZ

Our client recently purchased this home and wanted to update the kitchen. The cabinets were refaced in our mission door style in maple, white on the upper cabinets and fog on the lower cabinets. The space felt a bit crowded, so we removed some of the upper cabinets and added floating shelves. A modification was made to the sink cabinet to accommodate the new farmhouse sink. A new quartz countertop and subway tile backsplash with Marrakesh detailing completed this beautiful transformation.  We are so glad this homeowner saw us in Mountain Living Magazine!

Modifications were made to accommodate a new cooking area including a new range hood and a beautiful contemporary kitchen island. We combined different materials using our Era line on the perimeter, installing custom cabinets in glossy acrylic white. On the island we used our Elegante door in a contrasting color.  This complete update also included removing a wall, new flooring, refacing a bar area, and new countertops. Our customer wanted a completely different look in their kitchen. We redoored the existing oak cabinets with a painted white shaker door. A cabinet was added to the peninsula to create a space for a new trash roll-out. The island was also done in a shaker style but with a contrasting stone stain. A farmhouse sink and a wrapping done in a rustic barnwood shiplap complete this stunning island! Granite countertops and a new backsplash completed the transformation of this beautiful kitchen.

June 2018 Winner – Custom Cabinets

Adam & Rachel Phillips - Wichita, KS - Phillips

This kitchen was expanded eight feet, creating a large new space that was grounded with a beautiful island that includes seating, storage, and wine fridge.  It is topped with Cambria quartz. New appliances were installed in a previously empty hall area. New flooring was installed in the kitchen and through the adjoining living area in several shades of grey and brown, like the smoke color mission shaker style cabinets with bronze pulls. Along with the glass sparkle in the quartz, the oversized Spanish subway tile, and metals, all of the colors come together with the light from the large picture windows with a lake view … creating an additional blend of colors that we call “gorgeous greige.” What a fun project for our team!  We are so glad these clients trusted us with their home.

Ryan & Michelle Thompson - Knoxville-TN-Thompson

These 1990’s cabinets were painted during a previous update, and were in desperate need of some help. To give more functionality to the space, modifications were made to the existing cabinets by enclosing the end of the peninsula, where previous dog bowls had been and turning the space into a spice rack pull-out. The ice maker space was replaced with a trash pull-out and larger doors were ordered to cover the mail slots and cubbies. The final modification was building out the space that was under the desk to make it a function cabinets. All the doors and drawer fronts were replaced with new ones in white shaker while the cabinet boxes stayed in place and were painted to match. Mission accomplished for the client!
