Cabinet Painting - Knoxville, TN - Thompson

Our client just purchased a 4 year old home and was wanting a brighter kitchen. Since the cabinets were in great shape and they liked the style of the cabinets, painting them was a great option. They chose to go with white uppers and gray lowers giving it a beautiful two tone look. In only a week they received a beautifully updated, brighter looking kitchen just as they had hoped for!

Cabinet Redooring - Knoxville, TN - Thompson

These 1990’s cabinets were painted during a previous update, and were in desperate need of some help. To give more functionality to the space, modifications were made to the existing cabinets by enclosing the end of the peninsula, where previous dog bowls had been and turning the space into a spice rack pull-out. The ice maker space was replaced with a trash pull-out and larger doors were ordered to cover the mail slots and cubbies. The final modification was building out the space that was under the desk to make it a function cabinets. All the doors and drawer fronts were replaced with new ones in white shaker while the cabinet boxes stayed in place and were painted to match. Mission accomplished for the client!

Custom Cabinets - Knoxville, TN - Thompson

Sometimes you need a new layout and a full remodel.  The cabinets in this 1954 home were original and in poor condition. The kitchen was reconfigured and a portion of the wall was removed to make the space more functional. New maple custom cabinets in a mission style were installed, painted white with a factory finish. The homeowner purchased all new appliances, and black leathered granite countertops, flooring, backsplash, and black iron pulls were installed.  The new space is nothing short of fabulous!  Our friends recommended us for the project, and there is no greater compliment.  What a fun remodel in Knoxville!

This 1974 kitchen was in need of an update. The cabinets had previously been painted an olive color and slightly distressed but were chipping and showing their age. We kept the existing cabinet boxes in place and simply replaced the doors and drawer fronts and painted the cabinet boxes to match. The lighter bisque color really opened the space and the caramel glaze added some great depth. The end result was a dramatic change to a much brighter and more welcoming kitchen!

Cabinet Redooring Plus - Knoxville, TN - Thompson

This 1975 kitchen was in desperate need of an update. The customer had painted the cabinets white about 10 years ago and they were looking worn and beginning to chip and peel in several areas. We replaced the old slab plywood doors and drawer fronts with a beautiful white shaker door and drawer front and updated the hardware with a brushed nickel pull and knob. We also replaced her old worn drawer boxes with new full extension soft close dovetail boxes and converted her hinges to concealed soft close as well. She also replaced her old laminate countertops with a gorgeous white and gray granite and finished it off with a beautiful white backsplash and freshly painted walls giving it the fresh clean updated look that it needed.

This 20 year old kitchen had cabinets that had been painted and distressed with a glaze, several years ago but the paint was beginning to chip and peel causing the cabinets to look tired and worn. The homeowner was wanting a cleaner more modern updated look and chose a beautiful white raised panel style door and hardware. The homeowner then replaced the backsplash with a white subway tile and painted the walls gray to give it that beautiful finishing touch.
