My hobbies include woodworking, furniture building, home remodeling, gardening and canning, model railroading, landscaping, and photography. While I don’t have as much time nowadays to enjoy them, I like to boat and ride my ATV.

I recently installed solar panels and rainwater collection barrels and it was one of the inspirations for my interest in gardening and canning. The other was a desire to grow San Marzano tomatoes and cook authentic, savory Italian dishes in a Neopolitan wood fired pizza oven that I hope to find time to construct. It will be the crowning jewel on my travertine patio that I built myself in my back yard!
