Kitchen Tune-Up of Williamsburg Named as a Project of the Year Winner

Congratulations to Mark & Mary Beth Levy!  The Levy’s are among five of our franchise locations to receive the prestigious Project of the Year Award for 2017.

To qualify for this award, a franchise must have won a Project of the Month award in the previous year. The projects are then voted on by Kitchen Tune-Up franchisees from across the nation. Out of the hundreds of submissions received throughout 2017, five projects earned the praise and votes from our franchise family.

Mark and Mary Beth and their team completed this cabinet refacing project in a new home that was built only three years ago. The homeowners had a white kitchen in mind when they built their home, but the builder talked them into a cherry kitchen with earth tones in the backsplash and countertops. Unfortunately they regretted that decision and felt that with nine foot ceilings, the color pallete made the space look dark. They saw Kitchen Tune-Up in a local print publication with a photo showing a wood kitchen transformed to white. The loved that look and wanted it in their own space.

We refaced the cabinets and added all new drawers and door fronts in maple, our Richfield style, snow white with gray glazing. The glaze helps accentuate the gray tones in the new quartz countertop and marble backsplash. “Our clients love the new look, and were very glad to complete the project for much less than the cost of a full remodel in their home that is still very new. We are thrilled to have made their dream kitchen a reality,” said Mark Levy.
