Kitchen Tune-Up Awards Project of the Year to Boston Area Franchise

Kitchen Tune-Up has awarded Matthew Silva & Manuel Silva, franchise owners in Peabody, Massachusetts, with the prestigious Project of the Year Award.

The honor was presented at our annual convention on January 13th in Orlando. To qualify for this award, a franchise must have won a Project of the Month award in the previous year. The projects are then voted on by the full franchise system. In addition to system recognition, the Silva’s also receive an all-expense paid cruise.

“Our franchise owners choose the best kitchen make-over completed by their peers, and Matthew and Manuel do excellent work,” said Heidi Morrissey, president of Kitchen Tune-Up. The project was a complete renovation in a 1960’s kitchen. A wall was removed to open up the space and make room to add an island for storage and seating. Custom cabinets were installed using maple in a mission style and espresso stain. This modern kitchen now features new stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, tile backsplash, and crown molding. Factors looked at in judging include how impressive or dramatic a change was achieved and what unique features were used.

The father and son duo and their team have been remodeling kitchens across Essex County since 2007. They can be reached for free estimates and consultations at 978-587-7957.
