Kitchen Tune-Up Announces July Project of the Month Award Winners

Each month Kitchen Tune-Up franchise owners submit photos of their kitchen transformations.  The Home Office team chooses the top projects to be awarded as our National Project of the Month winners.  The July 2018 winners include updates in five states: Kansas, Montana, Arizona, Massachusetts, and Indiana.  Congratulations to these franchise locations!

Adam & Rachel Phillips – Kitchen Tune-Up Wichita, KS
Custom Cabinets – Our Era line in glossy white acrylic & our Elegante door on the island
The Wichita team created a dream kitchen for this homeowner by transforming the original tired old kitchen into a sleek, modern design. Modifications were done to accommodate a new cooking area including a new range hood and a beautiful contemporary kitchen island.

Mitch Petty – Kitchen Tune-Up of Billings
Cabinet Refacing – Belmont II door style in maple with ginger stain
The homeowners wanted their kitchen updated but did not want to disturb the existing ceramic tile flooring. To complement the new doors and flooring, a Cambria quartz countertop was added with an undermount quartz composite sink.

Andy & Laura Leigh Mathis – Kitchen Tune-Up of Flagstaff
Cabinet Redooring Plus – Mission in white and stone
This client wanted a completely different look for their space. The existing oak cabinets were redoored with white painted shaker doors and a cabinet was added to the peninsula to create space for a new trash pull-out. The island was done in shaker style but in contrasting stone stain. The farmhouse sink and a wrapping done in a rustic barn wood ship lap completed the island. Finally, the granite countertops and backsplash completed the stunning transformation!

Mike, Janice & Jesse Dugan – Kitchen Tune-Up Norton, MA
Cabinet Refacing Plus – Maple beveled shaker in mist
This traditional cherry kitchen was evolved into a modern, more functional living space for this repeat client. The peninsula was modified and converted into an island and the door was widened for better flow into the room. To complete the transformation, accessories including double waste containers, utility drawers and roll-out trays were added along with new stainless-steel appliances.

Ron Strainis – Kitchen Tune-Up Hamilton County, IN
Cabinet Painting – Sherwin Williams Agreeable Gray
This homeowner wanted to update their space before they moved into their new home. They chose to paint the existing oak cabinets to a light grey. The countertops were replaced with gray quartz and they upgraded the appliances to stainless steel. Additional modifications included removing the valance above the stove and the bill holder above desk. A wine bottle holder, wine glass holders and LED under-cabinet lighting were also added.
