Management Team

Dave Haglund
Founder and President
Dave Haglund began his career with Montgomery Wards as a salesperson and by the age of 23 was a district manager responsible for a 3-state area.
Seeking further challenge, Dave opened a cabinet dealership in 1975, which eventually grew into Kitchen Tune-Up, franchising nationally in 1988. During this same time, Dave purchased Time & Space Advertising Agency. This agency did marketing for hospitals, banks and of course, Kitchen Tune-Up. Dave presided over this company until he sold it four years later.
Dave is a member of the IFA (International Franchise Association) and the NKBA (National Kitchen & Bath Association). He serves on the Board of Directors for the SD Family Business Association which has prompted him to do his own succession planning for his business. He holds various regular family meetings to plan for the future of Kitchen Tune-Up.
Dave continues to enjoy new challenges and is planning on remaining active in his company for years to come.

Jeff Dom
Sr. Vice President of Operations
Jeff Dorn joined Kitchen Tune-Up in May of 1997. Since that time, he has led operations for both the franchise system and the Home Office, specializing in the areas of contract compliance and administration, as well as vendor oversight.
Jeff brings seventeen years of prior experience in senior management positions with a large health care system, Presentation Health System, in Aberdeen, South Dakota.

Heidi Morrissey, CFE
Vice President of Marketing and Sales

Heidi Morrissey joined Kitchen Tune-Up in May of 2003 at the urging of her father, Kitchen Tune-Up founder, Dave Haglund. Heidi had worked as an Elementary Teacher after college and had been running her own home-based business for 11 years when her dad convinced her that her skills could be best used for the family business.
Heidi joined Kitchen Tune-Up not knowing what area she would specialize in initially. She tried out many hats hoping to better understand the entire organization. It became clear very quickly, that marketing and sales would be the area she could make dramatic transformations.
In her second year at Kitchen Tune-Up, she helped coordinate and activate the National Advertising fund. During her third year, she helped the company undergo a full rebranding (the first in eighteen years). Heidi has grown the Sales and Marketing departments, allowing her to get out of the day-to-day tasks and concentrate on growing and strengthening the Kitchen Tune-Up system.
After celebrating Kitchen Tune-Up’s 25th Anniversary in 2013 and working with the franchise owners, vendors and home office team for a decade, Heidi believes the best is yet to come.
